Robinia Pseuodoacacia (lat.)

... in everyday speech either Robinia or Acacia ... Wooden House has many years of experience with Acacia / Robinia

At Wooden House we mostly refer to this type of wood as Acacia.

01

Rapid growth in sustainable American forestry

There is enough acacia wood in the American forests. The climate in South-Eastern America ensures the type of wood grows very quickly, and forestry is therefore environmentally sound from every point of view. Acacia easily competes with the best noble woods from jungles and rainforests on the other side of the globe. The only difference is that Acacia from Wooden House originates from sustainable forestry in South-Eastern America and is significantly cheaper than jungle wood and is transported to the US with minimal transport time.

02

Sustainable

Wooden House gets Acacia from forests and sawmills in south-eastern America. Since Acacia is not an endangered species of wood, it also ensures minimal transport. Buying the wood from former Eastern America sawmills also ensures growth and prosperity for these countries. These are trees from sustainable forestry, just as we have a close collaboration with the sawmills. Acacia does not require much maintenance. The type of wood is self-impregnating. But you can still extend the lifespan with Wood tar.

Handles the american climate to perfection

The American climate is extremely harsh on the vast majority of wood types. Acacia copes with the climate fantastically well - so well that it is self-impregnating. That is why, among other things, the Roads Directorate uses untreated Acacia posts for fences, which are more durable than traditional pressure-impregnated posts.
